Au parc il y a les
Noisetiers communs auxquels nous sommes habitués mais aussi les
Noisetiers de Byzance. W parku znajdują się dwie odmiany leszczyny: leszczyna turecka i ta typowo, polska - leszczyna pospolita. Two varieties of hazelnut are in the park: Common Hazelnut and the Turkish one imported from Turkey. |

Un noisetier de
Byzance
coté Cité Universitaire. Leszczyna turecka to typowe drzewo o grubym pniu. Turkish Hazelnut is typically a one trunk tree. |
Les chatons
mâles ressemblent à ceux du bouleau. Koty męskie leszczyny przypominają te od brzozy. The male catkins resemble those of a birch tree. |

L'écorce du
noisetier
de Byzance est liégeuse. Kora leszczyny tureckiej jest spękana i korkowata. Turkish Hazelnut 's bark is fissured and corky. |
La feuille est
largement ovale, cordée et dentée. Liść jest owalny, unerwiony i podwójnie ząbkowany. The Hazelnut leaf is oval, nerved and doubly dented. |

Nous sommes plus
habitués à voir un noisetier sous cette forme très
large et sans aucun tronc dominant. Leszczyna pospolita to raczej olbrzymi krzew gdzie trudno doszukać się jednego, dominującego pnia. Common Hazelnut looks more like a big, round and spreading bush with no dominating trunk. |
